Melbourne’s most loved film event, the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) is back (30 July – 16 August 2015). A celebration of all things cinematic, the festival will showcase Australian film making talent along with the best of contemporary international cinema.

A rare repertoire of films will be presented, complemented by a program of talks, at venues across the city – including the state-of-the-art facilities at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) and the heritage listed Forum Theatre.

Filmgoers can keep an eye out for the following feature films that were shot in Melbourne:

  • Colin Hay Waiting for my real life (a few scenes of concert footage)
  • Showing Melbourne to Maningrida (a David Gulpilil Retrospective)
