The National Institute of Circus Acts (NICA) will be stepping back through the history of circus with their new production, Born in Sawdust (18 – 28 November). Performed by NICA’s 2015 graduates, the phrase ‘Born in Sawdust’ is traditionally used in Russia to describe someone who is born into the circus.
