Honey Fingers aim to teach urban beekeeping with an emphasis on the connection between bees and humans. Moonah Restaurant

Visitors to Cartlon’s Lygon street may have noticed a new addition in the past few weeks, Melbourne’s first community vending machine. Located next to Jimmy Watsons wine bar is a community vending machine dispensing goods from local establishments such as Readings Bookstore, La Mama Theatre, Heart Attack and Vine. Everleigh got Melbourne through the winter with their single-serve cocktails, now they’re back at it to rescue Spring. Each cocktail is made by hand and ready to be enjoyed straight out of the bottle, or from a glass if feeling fancy.

Melbourne’s much-loved brewery Moon Dog is declaring this to be the Summer of Seltzer with its new line of Hard Seltzers. Four flavours that invoke the nostalgia of warm summers and childhood treats are sure to satisfy all during a spring picnic or day at the beach. Flavours have been devised by three times Australian Bartender of the Year Chris Hysted-Adams to provide drinkers with a refreshing alternative to beer on a sunny day.
