Hightail it to the Docklands

The team behind Welcome to Thornbury, Brunswick Mess Hall, Mr Burger and Belles Hot Chicken have opened a new, high-concept bar on the city’s edge: Hightail.
Located within Collins Square, just a block from Southern Cross Station, this new watering hole has the capacity to hold 950 drinkers and diners.
To create an original design for this bar, the people behind Hightail collaborated with Technē Architects (Long Chim, Tonka, Lee Ho Fook) to imagine a space with ‘escapism’ in mind, decorated with hanging plants and murals of jungle flora and fauna.
Hightail has 60 taps serving 16 beers, a wine list that concentrates on by-the-glass choices and cocktails that can be enjoyed in the various different seating areas around the space.
The 100 Orders app will be making its debut at Hightail, giving guests the ability to order Belles Hot Chicken, Mr Burger or Super Taco straight to their table.
Hightail is located at Collins Square. Enter via Batmans Hill Drive, Docklands. It will be open Monday to Friday from 11am to late, and Saturdays from 12pm to late starting 20th July. For more information please visit www.hightail.bar
