New tour at Queen Victoria Market

Famous for its fresh produce and speciality shopping, Queen Victoria Market’s walking tours provide visitors with the chance to experience the market at its liveliest. Launching in June, the Ultimate Foodie Tour will be just that – the ultimate foodie tour. Departing at 9am, and 11am on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays, guests will be given the chance to eat their way through some local produce including Coffin Bay oysters, grilled peppercorn kangaroo, Victorian olives, and fresh dolmades… with all tastings dependant on the day’s offering Tours will uncover the history of the Market, and offer the chance to meet some of the people who helped shape it into the bustling food hub it is today. And what could be more Melbourne than finishing the tour with a delicious coffee and a jam doughnut?
