Wallace & Gromit and Friends: The Magic of Aardman

The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) will host Family Sundays – a new free program held on the first Sunday of every month.

Launching on 2 April 2017, it is the perfect opportunity for visitors to explore the facilities at ACMI, taking in all that’s on offer. Each month, Family Sundays will be themed differently, kicking off with a focus on YOUTUBE in April. Stars of the channel will pop in and there will be workshops linking back to creating original video content.

In May, the day will be Star Wars themed, hosted in conjunction with Disney. June will see the focus turn to Videogames including Virtual Reality and in July, the event will fall on the opening weekend of Wallace & Gromit and Friends: The magic of Aardman, so naturally it will be all about Aardman’s animation.
