Park HyattLive music and all the traditions of Christmas will make for a relaxing Christmas Day in the stunning surrounds of Park Hyatt Melbourne. A sumptuous buffet lunch from 12:30pm – 3:30pm and a special visit from Santa is included in the price which starts at $99 for children 6 – 12 and goes up to $309 for the full buffet and drinks package. Crown MelbourneGuests at Crown Melbourne will be spoilt for choice this year with a range of cuisines and celebrations to choose from. No.8 by John Lawson will be offering a six course Christmas special featuring the freshest Victorian produce on offer, or for an Oriental twist on the holiday season, guests can enjoy eight courses of Chinese cuisine at Silks. Japanese restaurant Koko allows diners to select their own Teppanyaki feast, while The Conservatory offers an array of international cuisines. The Collins Kitchen chefs are busy preparing all this and more for the lavish feasts offered at Grand Hyatt. The Langham MelbourneLangham loves Christmas and the hotel is going all out to provide a Christmas Day to remember. Designer decorations, carol singers and Santa himself with provide the ambience and Melba Restaurant’s Christmas Buffet will offer more than 40 dishes including roast turkey with all the trimmings. Desserts will include candy cane and red velvet trifle, Christmas crumble pudding and gingerbread caramel swirl cup cakes. Dinner starts at 6pm and prices range from $149 per child to $299 per adult. Adelphi Hotel Adelphi’s Om Nom Kitchen & Dessert Bar is offering a set Christmas menu on Christmas Eve and Day including champagne on arrival, an aperitif cocktail and a three course Christmas lunch. Sofitel MelbourneChristmas Lunch at Sofitel Melbourne is served in the elegant surroundings of No35 restaurant. Diners will be treated to a sumptuous buffet, top notch beverage package and complimentary glass of Veuve Champagne on arrival. Live music inspired by the festive season and a gift for the children from Santa Claus will put the icing on the Christmas cake. Hotel WindsorChristmas Day at the Hotel Windsor sees an extensive buffet banquet at its handsome Grand Ballroom that includes seafood such as vanilla-poached Tasmanian salmon; carvery of baked free-range ham and turkey; mains of spring lamb, pork belly and ocean trout, and eight different Christmassy desserts. St. AliFor five star food in a more relaxed cafe atmosphere, St. Ali will be serving up a traditional Christmas lunch for $65 per person. Kicking off with an entrée of Marron with taramasalata or a fresh Tuna tartare on pea mash, the festivity continues with roast Turkey with red currants or a roasted rack of Lamb with mint pea puree for main course. To finish, a homemade Christmas pudding or pavlova will have everyone in the spirit. The BoathouseOn the banks of the Maribyrnong River, The Boathouse is offering a three course Christmas lunch designed for sharing. MasterChef star and restaurateur, Gary Mehigan, will cook up smoked salmon, BBQ prawns, baba ganoush for entree, followed by slow roasted Clare Valley beef medallio and crispy skin Corral Coast Barramundi for main course. Traditional Christmas pudding will be served for dessert, with whisky anglaise along with almond frangipane tart.
